Hong Kong: My first out of the country escapade
Most of you would agree that first time moments will be memorable such as first love, first work and so on.
The reason I choose HK as my first out the country adventure because since childhood I want to go on the happiest place on earth which is Hong Kong Disneyland and as I grow up I want experience and explore its exciting street life and great attractions.
To be fully equipped I made some researches on each attraction, buy tickets online to get rid of long lines, look for cheap yet safe accommodation and read some blogs about the country.
Come and join me as we discover the best of Hong Kong.
Thanks for the Hogar family (my travel buddy’ family) for letting me join their family vacation.
On our first day, we rode in Ngong Ping 360 cable car going to Tian Tan Buddha, also known as “The Big Buddha” and in the evening we went to Victoria Peak to see the 360 panoramic lights of Hong Kong.
We stayed at Wonderland Villas and the next day we went to Ocean Park Hong Kong, located on the southern are of HK Island. The park has more than 915, 000 square meters and with that we spent half day to get around.
At 6 PM we went to Mong Kok to buy some souvenirs and walk around.
And we end our day in a magical kingdom where fairy tales and Disney characters come true. We didn’t explore HK Disneyland that much because there are some places that were under construction and we need to catch our flight going back to Manila.
Short but memorable and cheers to more adventures!
